Movements is a series of rectangles transforming its width, height, color, and coordinates depending on the buffer size of the audio by using Processing and the Minim library.
I was inspired by the leaders of the Abstract Expressionism movement such as Josef Albers, L. Moholy-Nagy, Piet Mondrian, and George L. K. Morris. Instead of following different forms of realistic art, the American Abstract Artists group was established in 1936 to advocate for art’s inherent separation from reality and its universal appeal.
